The owner's numbers, every rooftop, on every screen.
Insights is six dashboards for the dealer principal, the GM and the head of pre-owned. Every figure has one definition, its source and its as-of time, and reads the same on every screen.

The four figures a used-car department is judged on, each rooftop as a share of its own cars against the targets the group set.

Your targets, not a benchmark
The group sets each target once in Settings › Valuation, and every rooftop is read against it.
-
Shares, with their counts
Every share shows what it counts: 7 of Sharjah's 14 cars are under 30 days, beside Downtown's 16 of 28. The group's share is worked out from the group's own counts, never as an average of the rooftops' shares.
The same Overview on the home page: Sunday night, every rooftop on one screen.
Numbers a manager can check.
A figure is only worth acting on if it holds up when the rooftop's manager checks it on Monday. Each one on Insights says what it counts, where it comes from and when it was read, and it matches the screen the manager works from.
-
One definition for each number
Help and the export's second file use the words of each figure's own definition, so a figure means one thing wherever it is read.
-
The same cars as the Stock page
Insights counts the cars the Stock page lists, with the same rules: 64 at Sandstone tonight, 28 at Downtown, 22 at Airport Road and 14 at Sharjah. A Stock tile opens its cars on the Stock page.
-
Market figures carry their time
Price to market compares each car with its own market in AutoData's daily snapshot, read at 06:00 Gulf time. The tile says how many cars were compared, and a car with fewer than 5 listings to compare is counted, not priced. How the market is read.
-
Too few to call a rate
Overview shows a rate from 5. Sharjah decided 4 appraisals this month, so its look-to-book gives the count and says why, rather than a percentage one car would swing. A figure that isn't there yet says so, and is never shown as 0.
-
Front gross, labelled
Gross is each sale's price less the car's cost, frozen when it sold. No finance income is recorded, and the VAT treatment waits for the finance review.
-
Cost for those who may see it
Capital at cost, cost to market and gross show only to people whose role may see cost. Others read the stock at asking.
Take the table to Monday's meeting.
Each dashboard exports its table as CSV, and a second file says what every column means, in the words the information buttons use. Nothing is rounded into a story: the numbers go out as numbers, and a rate with too little behind it goes out empty.
-
A table from each dashboard
Rooftops, Needs action, Appraisals by rooftop, As appraiser, As approver, Your models in the market and sold cars: Export on each dashboard downloads the table it shows, for the scope chosen.
-
Raw numbers, honest gaps
Shares are whole numbers a spreadsheet can add, money is in dirhams without the symbol, and Sharjah's look-to-book is left empty, as it is under 5 decided.
-
Recorded, by permission
Export needs the export permission at every rooftop the table covers, and every export is written to the audit log with who ran it and when.
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.

Questions about Insights
Where do the figures come from?
From the records DealRevs keeps as your team works: appraisals, offers, approvals, stock and sales. Market figures come from AutoData's daily snapshot, read at 06:00 Gulf time. Nothing on Insights is typed in by hand.
Who sees which rooftops?
Each person sees the rooftops their role lets them view, and the group when that covers more than one. Capital at cost, cost to market and gross show only to people whose role may see cost; for everyone else the stock reads at asking.
Why does a figure say Not enough data?
Overview shows a rate from 5. With fewer cars or decisions behind it, the figure gives the count and says why, so one car can't swing it. A figure that isn't there is never shown as 0.
How fresh are the market figures?
They come from AutoData's snapshot read at 06:00 each day, and every market figure shows that time. A whole day's prices and decisions work from the same numbers.
What does the export include?
The dashboard's table as CSV, in raw numbers, with a rate under 5 left empty. The message that follows offers a second file, "Download what the figures mean": each column's definition, formula, what it is counted over, its source and when it is as of. It stays until you use it or close it. Export needs the export permission at every rooftop the table covers, and every export is recorded in the audit log.
Are the targets industry benchmarks?
No. They are your group's own, set once in Settings › Valuation. Help lists US reference figures beside them, labelled as references, which aren't targets for this market.
Does gross include finance income?
No. Insights shows front gross: each sale's price less the car's cost, frozen when it sold. No finance income is recorded, and the VAT treatment waits for the finance review.
Does every screen show the same figures?
Yes. The desktop, the phone and the tablet read the same records with the same definitions, so the figure Faisal reads on Sunday night is the one the rooftop managers see on Monday.
